So Much History – Handle With Care

To successfully renovate a historic hotel, working closely with preservation experts, contractors experienced in landmark buildings, and local authorities is critical to carefully plan and execute the project. Thorough assessment, contingency planning, and transparent communication with stakeholders are essential.

This was especially true with the Hotel Jerome Project in Aspen, which was built in 1889. The Jerome Hotel in Aspen, Colorado, is historically significant as one of the city's grandest 19th-century hotels.
It played an important role in both Aspen's mining era and later its transformation into a ski resort destination. The Hotel caters to a wide audience, including celebrities and many people from outside
the USA.

AW2 was part of the team involved in this renovation, handling the logistics for Warehousing and Installation of the model room. We were tasked with managing products supplied from a range of vendors and consolidating them at a central warehouse. AW2 then delivered and installed the product on-site according to a carefully crafted execution plan.

With the experience of AW2 and our veteran Project Management team, this work was completed flawlessly. Based on our experience, we added tangible value to the client's scope during the project.

Hospitality logistics is like conducting a symphony in some cases. Manufacturers produce the product, trucks deliver it to the warehouse, and the product is efficiently and carefully stored. AW2 then delivers, installs, removes debris, and makes any last-minute adjustments the client requests to complete our work.

If any one of these moving parts does not coordinate as planned, it is very easy to end up with a very costly mess. This is where the AW2 team's experience and premier Project Management make the difference.

The result of all our efforts is the superbly renovated and acclaimed Hotel Jerome.
