“Cold Fusion Mumbo Jumbo”

The title of the blog is from a movie called “The Saint” starring Val Kilmer.  The comment in the movie relates to the idea of Cold Fusion energy (generating endless cheap energy) and how it seems unattainable with no clear path to achieving it. It seems to me that the logistics world is in its own state of “Cold Fusion Mumbo Jumbo” at the moment.

In Supply Chain Logistics today it is very challenging to plan for the future. Global supply chains are entering 2024 roiled by disruptions at two of the world’s crucial trade corridors—the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal—even as geopolitical tensions appear set to take a more prominent role in sourcing and distribution. That could potentially force countries and companies to redraw trade maps that have been built over decades.

The sudden shocks and shifts that will inevitably occur in 2024 pose a challenge to ocean carriers, truckers and other freight and logistics companies that will have to divert resources according to diversions in cargo flows and swings in demand.

In this current marketplace it is vital for your future growth to be working with nimble and forward thinking partners to keep ahead of the curve. You need to understand your vendor network and the full range of their capabilities to support you in the uncertainty ahead.

At AW2 we pride ourselves in avoiding “Mumbo Jumbo” of any kind. Our veteran staff bring the necessary experience and clarity to deal with supply chain uncertainty and deliver success in this challenging marketplace. We never forget that your success is our success.

If you have ever considered outsourcing all or parts of your supply chain, or simply do not have the capacity to support your growing production please contact, Dean Steiner, VP of Sales & Strategy, to discuss your needs in more detail, d.steiner@aw2logistics.com, 1-877-223-0605 or complete the contact form below.
