Kim McCloud

Director of Business Development

Who are you?

Kim McCloud, Director of Business Development The youngest of 6 children to a father that was a Sales Man.
I followed in his footsteps and today, I’m the only salesperson in the family!

What Do You do?

I work in the warehousing, logistics, transportation and freight forwarding vertical markets assisting clients
with space needs as it relates to long-term, and at times short-term needs. Selling into our existing dually
labeled Ace/AW2 nationwide facilities as well as having access to 400+ Atlas Van Line agents/facilities, and vetted strategic business partners. For the last two years, I have worked diligently with many importers both
on the East & West Coast supporting them in getting their containers from the port, providing immediate
devans and transloads expediting the delivery to their final destination, alleviating the congested rail system
and delays at the final rail ramp. We have also been successful in supporting clients with local /regional warehouse solutions, taking on their inventory stock allowing them to expand internal production capabilities
to meet their growing business.

What experience do you have in FF?

I have worked in the freight forwarding arena my whole career, starting as an administrative assistant for a
Sales Manager who within a year’s time gave me the chance to do outside sales. I’ve been helping clients ever since. I love servicing the international marketplace, however, that is not to say that U.S. transport hasn’t had its challenges as well opportunities in the last couple of years for which I have learned a lot and helped many customers find new solutions.

Who have you worked with?

I have worked with FF in Chicago, New York, and LA markets. I have also worked for a range of larger players in the integrator & freight forwarding community in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Indiana markets. I’ve been tasked with managing large accounts inside of manufacturing , healthcare, technology, pharma, trade shows, government as well as small to medium-sized clients to round out my book of business.
